Kirabo Winery & Hiking Trail

Kirabo Private Cellar is a boutique family winery in Rawsonville's Breedekloof Valley, primarily a red wine cellar that has recently added Chenin Blanc ranges to reflect its position in Chenin Country. Small quantities of handpicked, wood-matured wines sit alongside the option to blend and bottle your own, while the on-site Broers Brewery adds craft beer to the tasting menu. Signature Chenin Blanc and Shiraz varieties have earned recognition for their distinctive terroir expression, with named bottlings including the Petrus Red Blend, Girlie Rosé, and Dario Cupcake sweet red.

Hendrik Kees Walking Trail

The Kirabo Hendrik Kees Walking Trail is an easy 2,3 km walk on our farm into the beautiful Sidouws mountain. This trail is suitable for children and pets, too. It is important to book your hike via WhatsApp (071 681 9019).

There are no costs for this hike, but donations are welcome and help us to maintain the trail and conserve our indigenous flora.

Donations can be left at Kirabo's bar area, if staff hasn't come in yet.

We also offer wine tastings of our boutique family wines, craft beer on tap (seasonal availability) and platters/picnic boxes.

Please note, that bookings are essential, as Kirabo is not open for walk-ins.
